Hi,

Same setup as a previous posting,
but now I'm working on Option "Rotate".

I have one question and one possible bug.

<my setup>
FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE, Xfree86 4.3.
Matrox G550, Iiyama AU4831D (DVI cable).
</my setup>

I now set Modes to start with something
I know will at least fly, like 1024x1280.

I also add :

Option "Rotate" <str>

[Note: the AU4381D can be pivoted 90-deg clockwise
on it's base, so I'm aiming for str="CCW".]

-- QUESTION: If I set str="CW", I get exactly what
is called for: virtual 1280x1024 rotated clockwise.
Er, but what I really want (of course) is 1024x1280.
But, of course, that's also not in the list of supported
modes. Under Windows(tm) there's extra "pivot" software that
you load to support this. Is there a way to accomplish
this in X?

I tried blythly gtf'ing a guess for 1024x1280 75hz, but
was summarily rejected. doh.

[Note: the goal here is to be able to display things
like 8.5x11 images for data entry and such.]

-- BUG(?): If I set str="CCW", I get a SIGABRT
server crash. I'm attaching config and log for that.

I'm sol without a good solution to both of these.
