I have seen similar messages posted here but never a resolution. Can
anyone even shove me in the right direction regarding this? When using
the radeon driver on my compaq evo n1000v, the lcd panel is horribly
distorted, but an external monitor is ok.
This leads me to believe that it is something about the panel and not
the card, does this sound reasonable?
I have tried
Section "Monitor"
DisplaySize 300 220 # mm
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "LGP"
ModelName "6e54"
Option "DPMS"
EndSection
for the monitor section
and put
Option "CrtScreen" "False"
in the Device section, but no change.
I have made a mockup of what this looks like since I don't quite know

Any ideas?
