I tried to set -weight to 556 with X in 16 bit framebuffer mode on several
x86 based machines. On all of them the result is that objects on screen that are
rendered by the render extension are not visible on screen. (e.g. gnome2 toolbar
icons, truetype fonts)
For my last test i used the precompiled binaries from xfree86.org.
