Subject: [XFree86] ATI Driver problems -- Warning: loading ... fglrx.o will taint the kernel: non-GPL license ...

I am still trying to get my Radeon 9000 Pro installed. I am noticing a
few more things. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my rpm package.
The first thing I notice is that even though the installation tells you
that the module is loaded, /sbin/lsmod shows you that it isn't. Also,
there is a warning. This is the entire feedback when the installation
is run with "rpm -i --force ./fglrx-glc22-4.2.0-2.5.1.i586.rpm":

##################################################

Module fglrx loaded, with warnings
done.

ATI display drivers successfully installed
please run 'fglrxconfig' now

I run lsmod and do not find a module labeled fglrx.

Is there something in Linux preventing these modules from being loaded?
