i've edited both /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc ~/.xinitrc but 
without success.
  kamilla# cat /r*/.xini*
  setroot -solid white
  startkde
i've also changed my /opt/kde/bin/ksplash withx
somthing like that:
  #!/bin/bash
  xsetroot -solid white

but just (and only) at X startup (startx) xsetroot seems
do not work.
please, can you tell me were i wrong? tnx again.
