Hi! I'm running XFree86 4.3.0 on Slackware 9 w/ 2.4.21-ac4 kernel, gcc-3.3, and glibc-2.3.2. XFree86 runs fine at 1280x1024 resolution. Recently, I've been running into problems starting X clients and I get this message printed to stdout (when I run the client from a shell window):
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0 I've got Netscape 4.77 mail reader, Mozilla 1.4 w/ 10 browser tabs open and two Eterms open. I'm running WindowMaker 0.80.1. Any ideas? I couldn't find any discussion of this in the mailing list archives. Thanks! Peace...
