(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failure allocating root object. The NVIDIA kernel module (EE) NVIDIA(0): may not be installed correctly! Please refer to the FAQ for (EE) NVIDIA(0): installation instructions. When you change your kernel you need to recompile and reinstall your nvidia kernel module. Probably you want to take the opportunity to get a newer version of it and the XFree86 driver. I've made this mistake myself many times... -- Andy Goth | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://ioioio.net/ End communication. _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
