Hey Andy, Loosing... will.. to... wrestle... with... software... :)
I'm getting issue-fatigue, so now that I've got some problems licked I'd like to take a break for a while :) I did do a little experimentation, however... Using 4.3.0, which Mandrake gave me and setup for me, I can make it so my only fontpath is "unix:/-1". When I do that, it seems to just ignore that entry, and use the .../misc/ font path by default. Oh - one quick question: If I want to use my laptop to on-the-fly switch between driving a CRT, its LCD, and both simulataneously, am likely to run into a lot of problems? Thanks again, Christian > > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: 2003/07/17 Thu AM 10:22:13 EDT > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Fwd: [Fwd: Re: [XFree86] Overwriting Mandrake 9.1's XFree software]] > > > > > > From: Christian Convey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Date: 2003/07/17 Thu AM 08:44:58 EDT > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: [Fwd: Re: [XFree86] Overwriting Mandrake 9.1's XFree software] > > > > > > > > -------- Original Message -------- > > Subject: Re: [XFree86] Overwriting Mandrake 9.1's XFree software > > Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 00:10:26 -0500 > > From: Andy Goth <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > > On Wednesday, July 16, 2003 10:42 am, Christian Convey wrote: > > > Andy Goth wrote: > > > > Guess I haven't been paying attention. > > > > > > OK, I'm cuting your pay for this help in half ;) > > > > Crap!
