Hi, I tryed out this distribution. If you are trying to install from the CD, try "nofb" as the kernel to run instead of just pressing enter, which is the same as typing in "Gentoo". This will start the setup in "text mode" while it's not pretty it should work. Then you can worry about video card problems later.   Peter Nehem   P.S - Print out the start up guides.
