I just got VL173 17" Flat Panel Display, Princeton and try to configure to run with the latest
Xfree86 version 4.3 on Freebsd 4.1.
I tried different settings with xf86config, it doesn't work out. I got the error in /var/log/xfree86.0.log: --------------------------------- (EE) VGA(0) virtual height (0) is too small for the hardware (min 1) (EE) screen(s) foundm but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error: no screens found ---------------------------------
I wonder if xfree86 4.3 supports flat panel display? if yes, are there any trick to get around this problem?
Also, I noticed that gnome-session doesn't exist in both /usr/bin and /usr/X11R6/bin, does anybody
know why it is missed freebsd XFree86 4.3?
