I believe -configure is broken in XFree86 4.2 because of bugs
in the cyrix driver. Basically, you have an "ark" chip so it
may be supported by the "ark" driver (maybe. It's an old card
and that kind of stuff tends to deteriorate over time). If you
move the cyrix module out of /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers, the
-configure may work correctly. Otherwise you can just try
setting Driver "ark" in the XF86Config file if you already have
some semblance of one (which is hopefully mostly correct).
