Just installed Slackware 9.0, and console mode works fine. The xf86cfg programs works, too (graphically), so I can see that this system is CAPABLE of running X. However, when I try to start the X Windows system -- I get a crash (see the XFree86.0.log below -- XF86Config file also included). Any insight would be appreciated!
