1) Run a fullscreen application which changes the display mode (tested with Ur-Quan Masters, scummvm and zsnes at 1152x864 -> 640x480).

2) Jump to another virtual console.

3) killall -s KILL program

4) Jump back to X

5) Sometimes X crashes instantly; sometimes it crashes when you move mouse cursor over the bottom of the screen; sometimes it simply freezes the mouse. One of these things happens allways.

I've tried this with both the nv driver and the NVIDIA binary driver, so it's unlikely to be a driver bug.
