I have a problem with my RedHat 9.0 configuration of my Matrox G2+ video card.
When I run
XFree86 -xf86config XF86Config.new, I get a mouse cursor as an X, that can be moved across the screen, but no other video.
To get out of this, I hit the CRTL-ALT-BACKSPACE keys.
In addition to the error message below, I get:
(EE) MGA(0): [drm] Direct redering only supported with G200/G400/G550/ AGP
Thanks for all your help,
Kathleen Ayala
