I am having a problem with my Red Hat 9 Shrike Server that I am not able to initiate the XServer. My kernel version is 2.4.20-8. I am getting this logs (See attached file)..."Failed to load module "bitmap" (module does not exist, 0)"
When I went to this directory I was not able to access the directory even with the root user. When I tried to enter into the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts where the module for bitmap is, I got the following error "-bash: cd: fonts: Input/output error"
Please could you help me out with this,
