Hi,
I can't get xfree86 to recognize my keyboard, and it also spews console
messages onto the background.
I'm trying to run X on a framebuffer. When it starts up I can still
switch virtual terminals with [ALT]-[function key]. I don't need the
[CTRL], and X doesn't recognize any keypresses including
[CTRL]-[ALT]-[backspace]. The mouse does work, so I can exit with the
window manager window.
If someone wants to discuss this on IRC, I'd be very happy too, or an
e-mail would also be great. I'd really like to get this fixed. I'm
very mystified as how X can grab a virtual terminal, but can't get the
keyboard that goes with it.
I've tried xfree86 4.2.1, 4.3, and the latest snapshot that I got late
last week.
