Suse 8.2 has XFree86 v4.3.0 and I downloaded the ATI Linux drivers for XFree86 v4.3.0 and it installs just fine. When I reboot I only get a console and no XWindows. Before the reboot I can even chose to have my second monitor expand my desktop, but obviously it doesn't work when I reboot.
