Hi, I have installed Linux 7.3 in my system. My system's display card is Acer 713.
The X-windows comes up for the first time and then after i logout it dosent work. The screen goes blank. I have to reboot the system to start X-Windows again. I tried to reconfigure the X-windows from the command prompt by trying the setup command. It was giving failures. After i tried this command i was not able to start x-windows. I am working on a project and i have to use X- windows. I will be very thankful if u can help me fix X-Windows. I have attached the log file it generated when i typed "startx" from the command prompt. Will the data be deleted if i reinstall linux 7.3? I want to fix this problem as soon as possible so that i can carry on with my project. I would very much appreciate if i get a speedy reply (solution) for my problem.
