Hi, I have an old compaq armada 1590DT, equipped with 50MB memory.
I'd like to run Xvesa on this because of the low memory needs. However, the server starts, the windowmanager starts as well, but neither the mouse, nor the touchpad will operate: the mouse cursor remains frozen I tried just about any option to start Xvesa, but an example would be: /usr/X11R6/bin/xinit /usr/X11R6/bin/Xvesa -screen 800x600x16 -mouse /dev/psaux -nolisten tcp When I run the "normal" X-server (Chips server) ( video device is C&T F68554) it runs just fine with the device /dev/psaux.
