I'm running Linux RedHat 9 (Shrike) with kernel 2.4.20-30.9.

My video card is a Riva TNT with external pass through cable to a Voodoo 2 1000 PCI on a pentium 200MMX.
The version of XFree86 I'm running is: 4.3.0

In gnome, when I "probe" my graphics card, it detects it to be a generic S3 Trio64 card, and no matter what I set the graphics card settings to the check box for 3d acceleration is grey and can not be used.  Is there possibly an older version of XFree86 that doesn't have this problem?  Or is there some way to remedy it with the current version?
