Hello, I've a problem with my ATI RADEON 9000:
I start Knoppix 3.3 and it automatically sets up all
the system (video card included) but, when it say that
it will open an X-Window the screen swaps e few time
and Knoppix says:
Starting X11...
Retrying with Server XFree(vesa)
Retrying with Server XFree(fbdev)
Error: no suitable X-Server found for your card.
Then the configuration stops and I don't know what to
do! The system is not crashed because I can write
command lines and shut-down linux whitout problems.
The automatic configuration says that my video card
is:
ATI Radeon R250 [Radeon 9000] (Secondary) using
XFree(radeon) server.
What can I do? Thanks for help and sorry for my
english... ;)
A last thing... I've never used linux before this
aftenoon, please forgive me!
