Don't use a font server on embedded.  The X-server can already
render fonts so adding a font server just increases size.  You only
need one font path in your XF86Config - the one that has a fixed
font.  On my machine that's:

   FontPath   "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc"

  Read your fonts.alias to find which font is "fixed".  The fonts.dir
will tell you which gzipped file it's stored in.
