After fixing a few #include statements in the latest XFree86-4.4.0-src-x.tgz distribution and installing over a Suse-9.1 distribution the X windows system worked first time! It has fixed a problem I had with the Wacom CT-0405-R tablet (serial port model) and is working with the SGI 1600SW monitor and Rev IV Agp card.
( uname -a 2.6.9 #1 Tue Dec 7 15:25:11 EST 2004 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux ) This is an amazing bit of software and keeps my system from obsolescence. A big thanks to the XFree86 team.
