this is part of MSDN documentation of LocalAlloc The LocalAlloc function allocates the specified number of bytes from the heap. Windows memory management does not provide a separate local heap and global heap.
Note The local functions are slower than other memory management functions and do not provide as many features. Therefore, new applications should use the heap functions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ xHarbour-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xharbour-developers
