I suspect this "bug" occurs up to Pelles 4.50.
extend.c v.1.73 - error under 4.50
?? under 5.01
ok under 6.00 rc3
extend.c v.1.74 - ok under 4.50
?? under 5.01
ok under 6.00 rc3
note: I don't be able to compile xharbour under version 5.01
