Stand By Problem

Hi All!       Sometimes when mi computer fall into a stand by state and returns later any if  i try to make a new connection to the xindice server (that was running normally before the stand by) using the command tool it returns an error, any message is provided just "Error:" even the shutdown command... i want to debug it, anyone could me help telling me which are the class where i must start looking for the problem?   Miguel Angel Urrutia Soler
