Hi

If you look at http://xml.apache.org/xindice/INSTALL.windows or even at
http://xml.apache.org/xindice/INSTALL there is nothing there related to
Tomcat.
Xindice is a STANDALONE server.

However, Cocoon and Xindice live very well with each other (CORBA servant
only concern here).
My setup as follows:
1. install Cocoon
2. copy xindice.jar and xmldb-api-XXXXXXXX.jar to
%TOMCAT%\webapps\cocoon\WEB-INF\lib

that simple

if you want to use it from your own servlet and you can wait for twoo weeks
(I'm on summer vacation right now),
then I'll send you a sample servet.

cheerz, Artyom

Subject: Configure tomcat for Xindice/ web.xml

Hello

I want to know how I have to configure tomcat for Xindice.

I created a directory named Web-Inf/lib, and there I put the
jars files (openorb, xindice, xerces,...).
But the file web.xml I need to configure it?

The tomcat hasnt access to jar files!

Somebody can tell me all the steps for this?

Thanks
