I've been following it for quite a while, but I've never tried it. I agree it looks very promising, but I see it as a competitor to Xindice rather then something that can help us. Do you see something different?



It depends. Sleepycat is making a library, while until today I thought we were making a database server. I understand that this not really the case anymore, though I still advocate that the place where Xindice belongs is where it originally started, i.e. as a database server. In that case, bdbxml can be a viable option as (one) of the underlying libraries, just as Berkley DB is the foundation for most of the Open Source RDBMS out there.
