Definitely not... this would be just sweeping under the rug. :-)
otherwise, I can remove the code until murray returns to clarify this issue.
This, though conservative, seems much safer to me. My take is that keeping that code into our CVS might be illegal unless otherwise proved, so I'd rather remove it until we understand what are exactly the legal implications.
