Some time ago I suggested to move xupdate (Lexus) into the XML commons project. I had many positive replies from various directions, but I never found the time to write an "official" email.
I still think it would be a good idea, because it seems to me that within the Apache community Lexus is being used and would be improved.
Did you discuss this with current xupdate community, what do they think about it?
I don't know about XML Commons, who else uses xupdate beside Xindice?
