xpath-problem

Hello,
I have installed xml-xindice-1.0rc2 on Win2000. Everything works fine,
only xpath - Expressions like:
//[EMAIL PROTECTED]'Sprenger']  or
//[EMAIL PROTECTED]
don't deliver any results. Is this a bug ?
