Question about using a XMLObject to create trigger

Dear all,

I read in the Xindice Developers Quide 0.7 that it is possible to extend
the functionality of the Xindice server with XMLObjects. Is it possible
to use a XMLObject to "listen" for changes in a collection, like new
Object inserted? 

I searched in the Xindice API but I couldn't figure out if this is
possible. I would be glad if someone could answer this question and
provide me some hints how it could work. (I'm using Xindice 1.0)
