xindice :-) whats the difference?

True, SiXDML is no task of the database. Maybe a sql like interface would
push the popularity.

And now a often asked question, I hope you didn't kill me :-). 
Are there any internal papers about xindice-core? I'm very interested to
understand the internals. I looked at the code, but further papers can help
to understand it more.
