Hello,

I wrote a content managment (in php) system based on Xindice and using it in a production environment.

For the moment there are 3 medium-size sites in it (I estimate about 500 collections and 8000 documents).
The CMS as well as the sites are still going smooth.
e.a. Have a look at www.aters.be, the complete content of the site is stored in xindice, as well for the product-catalogue (+-300 collections, 5000 documents).

The only thing that didn't go to well was transfering data from a relational db (of from xindice) to xindice. Seems like Xindice has a hard time make a lot of collections in a row. Still didn't find out what's going wrong, our how to avoid this.

greets,
Hans

Hi Bryan,

My client is looking at xml databases at the moment, and they'd like a
little more information about Xindice. Is there anyone on this list who's
using it in a production environment who wouldn't mind having a brief email
discussion with me?

I am not using it in a production environment yet, but I conducted most of the tests I needed to find out whether to use it in a productive setting for a customer.

Cheers,
