Running Xindice-1.1b4 in embedded mode

Hi Evryone!
I am new with xindice. I had downloaded xindice1.1b4, I am willing to run in an 
embedded mode. I am having hard time to make it run.
Can anyone tell me if possible what jars files I need, and also how to run 
those examples.
