With kind help from Richard i was able to install Xlog-2.0.1 and had it
running successfully in Ubuntu 8.10. i rebooted to WindowsXP to fix some
things shown in U 8.10 like remove a U3 file from a Cruzer USB drive.
when i rebooted to Ubuntu Xlog would no longer run. upon starting Xlog
it takes several seconds to start but shows an empty window where the
logging info used to be. running ./configure and "make" and sudo make
install" have not done anything to fix the problem. closing the blank
window requires "force."
anyone have a solution?
thank you
jack
