This is not an xmail server specific problem but I have also been experiencing the same issue. I have tried to also setup DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) but that does not seem to have helped solve the problem.
Could this be an issue with having a "catch all" address? my server will not respond with a "mailbox not available" error because it will just forward that on to me. I read on Google's App howto that you should try and avoid catch-alls. --- On Mon, 12/11/12, Fred <r...@fullmetalpacket.com> wrote: From: Fred <r...@fullmetalpacket.com> Subject: [xmail] Spammer spoofing = receving tons of bounces from remote servers To: "'XMail Users Mailing List'" <xmail@xmailserver.org> Date: Monday, 12 November, 2012, 18:34 Some spammer is forging his sender address resulting one of my account receiving tons of bounces from remote servers. I have added an SPF record to the affected domain name, is there anything else I can do?
