Basically, I am unsure of the terminology and which of the many tab files I need to edit. For example, I am not sure what entries I need to use in the server.tab to tell XMail to that the local machine is to be the smtp server. For example, I simply entered the computer name: "RootDomain" "cr656951-a" "POP3Domain" "cr656951-a" "HeloDomain" "cr656951-a" "PostMaster" "Administrator@cr656951-a" "ErrorsAdmin" "Administrator@cr656951-a" "DefaultSMTPGateways" "192.168.1.1"
I am using a cable model with a router to allow my lan of 4 computers to connect using 1 IP address (don't tell). The router IP is 192.168.1.1. The localhost (cr656951-a) is 192.168.1.9. I the set Eudora to use "cr656951-a" as the smtp server and I send a test email. It appeared to get sent, but it did not arrive? Thanks for your quick reply. Christopher R.
