I have to comment on that: While it may be that because I am and always 
was careful about my e-mail address I myself have nevr been getting much 
spam, I feel that the amounts of spam from before I removed the filters 
and now have not changed at all, while the amouts of complaints dropped 
to almost nothing.

Again, I am always careful, and I run a small server (A few dozen 
clients), so I might be wrong, but that's my experience.
