Was this a new installation?
If so ... are you sure that all sub-dirs (even empty ones) were installed ?
X-mail needs some dirs to lock mailboxes and stuff. These come in as empty
directories and some unzippers tend to skip emty directories.
might be a hint .. i'm not sure if this error has something to do with it.

Good luck,
Frederik Gallon

Onderwerp: [xmail] remote admin error

I've got a Linux box with XMail 1.10 installed. It's set to allow the LAN
IPs access to the control port. When I try to connect to the box from a
Windows client with XMail Administrator 0.21, I get the following:

Error response during 'administrator login'

-00171 Resource lock entry not found

Would someone help me diagnose this problem and find a solution? Thank
you.

Kevin
