The problem is network related, your server isn't receiving any packets from SLSINET.SLS.LIB.IL.US according to the tcpdump. What does the traceroute look like?
I sent an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it hasn't bounced back yet. If there smtp server was running on port 465, it would have timed out by now. I highly doubt that is the case. -Don -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jim Frank Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 1:02 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [xmail] More info on problem communicating with IMAP server Hey, all... I digged up a little more info on the problem. It seems the IMAP server I'm having problems connecting to runs on non-standard ports. Their SMTP server runs on port 465 and their IMAP runs on 993. I'm really at a loss here... I've tried every setting and still can't get them to recieve any of my emails. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
