Try Xarchive -> http://software.dolist.net/xarchive.asp
the messages are kept in a dir 'keep' and have the internal xmail numbering
(mstime.pid.hostname), so you could hold logs (for easy retrieval) & files
at the same time.

A good solution if you'd ask me.

PS What is your opinion against this legislation ?

Hi
            There is new legislation in South Africa that requires that
all ISP's must retain copies of all e-mails in and out of mail servers
for a period of 3 years.

Does anyone have ideas as to how best to handle this?

I run xmail server under Windows2k. It would be nice to file the data
by month so that I can make cd's and save hard drive space.

Many thanks

Keith
