Hi all, First, thanks for all your helps. Now I think I'm quite familiar with xmail. I have a final problem to be able to use the server (I hope):
I just did these things on the server: 1) Cleared out the smtprelay.tab file. 2) Uncommented "EnableAuthSMTP-POP3" "0" line in server.tab file. The result is: 1) I can send mail to all other domains with smtp. 2) I can receive the e-mails sent through with the account itself. 3) But mails from other accounts (from other domains) are not received. The thing I want to do is: I want only the accounts of domains registered to my server to send email using my server. If I had created an account, and if the client is configured to authorize for smtp, he sould be able to send, o/w should be rejected. I just want this simple thing, to prevent spammers using my server. This is the problem I have been experiencing, since the moment I began using the server. But I want to receive the emails directed to an account in the server. What should I do more? Thanks... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Michael Schwarz Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 8:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [xmail] Re: smtp authorization Hello Just reboot your workstation. When it has restarted, try 'xmail --install' again.
