Hi group, Could it be possible that spammers use the backup MX for their spam (assuming anti-spam policies are not that strict on backup mailservers?)
I've noticed that because we recently changed our setup with a backup mailserver, the messages dropped on the backup are all and only spam !! The scenario was that (ex-)main is now backup. For your advise, we changed DNS 2 weeks ago, so normally the change should have been propagandated long time ago. Or do spammers cache their DNS information more than 2 weeks?
