Spamassassin, with a little tweaking, has cut the amount of spam my users have
received. With no other filtering, we are correctly tagging about 80% of
spam. Here's a couple months stats.

SPAM: 5501 out of 24608 (22.35 percent)
NOT SPAM: 13157 out of 24608 (53.47 percent)
UNDETERMINED: 5950 out of 24608 (24.18 percent)

I changed the setup to put the stats in one big file, instead of breaking it
up by day, and parse the file for the stats. If anyone is interested in the
script (written in PHP) let me know. It gives the total spam count, plus
breaks it down into spam by user.

HEY KIDS! ANN LANDERS SAYS:
A great way to prevent the tragedy of unwanted pregnancy is to
become a homosexual. Every year, millions of young men and women, just
like you, are making the clean change to worry-free homosexuality.
They're having more sex than ever, and more fun than ever. Send 50 cents
today for my leaflet "Gay sexual techniques". Be sure to specify the
male or female edition.
