Did you miss the long discussion about the Win32 API CreateFile and files
names like com1, prn1, etc? :)

Check the archives for CreateFile and you will see many emails back and
forth about why Davide made the change.

following format:

\\?\D:\MailRoot\spool\19\21\mess\1060651850972.2216.chalco

What's it?
