I have installed Xmail 1.15 with Courier-Imap 1.7.1 using authuserdb module. I can send and receive messages through my accounts fine, however the messages coming in are in a format my clients are having problems with.
Outlook 2000 shows the messages without a from person and subject. When I open the message I see message headers and formatting text, not just the message. IMP 3.1 PHP email client shows the from and subject but in the message body I am also seeing the message formatting along with the text of the actual message. Evolution client seems to be the only client that shows the from, subject and message as it should be seen, no extra formatting. How can I fix this problem with other email clients? I am migrating from a Qmail, courier-imap server to xmail if I can get this working. I have found that if I copy a message that was written by Qmail on my old server to my Maildir on my new Xmail server and I view that message through my clients it displays fine. It was at this point I determined it may have something to do with the way Xmail writes the messages to the Maildirs.
