That sucks, but I have a quick story that will make you feel better. Here in Virginia we now have the ability to select a different local phone company. We had been using Verizon for our local service, AT&T for our long distance, and DSL.net for our net access. We decided to replace all of them with a fractional T1 line through Xspedius. We had planned for the changeover to occur at 10:00AM on a Thursday. At 2:00AM on Tuesday I get a call at home that 2 of our primary lines were down. I told them to contact Verizon to see what the problem was. He calls me back and says that Verizon told him they had an order to turn off the lines and that if we had a problem with that we could contact the business office in the morning. By morning all our lines were down. Which is a major problem for any business, but we're an Ambulance Service!! The hospitals couldn't call us, the patients couldn't call us, we were screwed! Fortunately once we realized this, we patched together a network of cell phones and fumbled through it. Thankfully the Xspedius guys jumped right on it and we had full service back by lunch time, no thanks to Verizon. So see, your transition isn't so bad :-) Jeff >- >To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in >the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] >For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to >[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
