I've also tried this using outlook express. It's exactly the same. It 
seems to me that xmail doesn't detect if multiple mail goes to the same 
server. The xmail on the author's side makes copies and the receiving 
xmail likewise. If a mail is sent to 5 recipients on the same server, 
each of them will get 25... am I wrong?
