I have turned off all reporting through our virus filters due to the amount of rubbish email it generates.
Our users don't care that a virus was stopped, as long as it was stopped. The sender is probably forged by the virus and you will end up sending 99% of these to people who don't have the virus in question and didn't send the infected email. The postmaster catch-all account for my domain has been receiving over 100 emails and hour saying I have the Mydoom.A virus. All systems here have been checked and there is no sign of the virus on our network. Obviously I could do without the mass of rubbish emails coming to the postmaster that's generated by virus filters.
